Leeds School is in Benson County in north central North Dakota on U.S.. Highway #2. An athletic cooperative involving Leeds and Maddock is called the Benson County Wildcats. The Leeds area is a sportsman's paradise with world class hunting and fishing. Agriculture is the main industry producing abundant amounts of wheat, canola, corn, soybeans, and several varieties of beans.

Wildcats Football Awards

Wildcats football awards were given at the Fall Athletic Banquet. Aidan was named most valuable offensive and defensive back and hardest worker. He also received the Spirit Award and was named MVP. Jaden Lunde was named most valuable offensive and defensive back. All region players include Aidan Ritterman, Jaden Lunde and  Zachery Frericks. Honorable mention all region were Dagan Arendt and Matthias Follman.

Poetry Out Loud Classroom Winners

The Poetry Out Loud classroom competition was held December 10 at the Leeds School. The results are: Grade 12 Sara first, Kalvin second; grade 11 Nikara first, Tyler second; grade 10 Lin Ella first, Josh second; grade 9 Arnikka first, Rochelle second. The school competition will be held January 27 at 2 PM

Allie, Grace, Rochelle, Dani & Arnikka played Christmas selections for the residents of Heartland Care Center.

Volleyball Awards

 Benson County Wildcats Volleyball awards were given at the Fall Athletic Banquet. Kaylee received the Wildcat Award. Courtney received the Spirit Award and most assists. Erin was named most improved. Paige was awarded the communication award and most digs. Annie was named MVP and also had the most hits and most aces. Annie was also named to the all region team.
