Leeds School is in Benson County in northcentral North Dakota on U.S. Highway #2. An athletic cooperative involving Leeds and Maddock is called the Benson County Wildcats. The Leeds area is a sportsman's paradise with world class hunting and fishing. Agriculture is the main industry producing abundant amounts of wheat, canola, corn, soybeans, and several varieties of beans.

NHS New Members

Leeds National Honor Society inducted new members at the awards ceremony. Inducted were Sara Galbraith, Tyler Blegen, Michael Heck, and Katelyn Nelsen. Louise Nelson is NHS advisor.


FFA District Contest

Leeds FFA competed in the District Contest at St. John on April 30. Andrew Follman won the 9th grade  ag mechanics contest. Katelyn Nelsen finished first in food science. Kalvin Slaubaugh finished first  and Julissa McGarvey second in Dairy foods. The food science team of Mylie Herman, Paige Johnson, Adam Fischer, Tyler Blegen, Katelyn Nelsen, and Erin Jorgenson finished first.  The Dairy foods team of Shelby Jorgenson, Bo Lauckner, Andrea Jorgenson, Kalvin Slaubaugh, Julissa McGarvey and Taylor Bisbee also took first. All will compete at the State FFA  in Fargo in June.
